These Terms of Service govern your use of urbanvinylflooring.ae and any vinyl flooring supply or installation services provided by Urban Vinyl Flooring. By using our website, requesting a quote, ordering materials, or booking installation services, you accept these Terms.

If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our website or services. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

Acceptable Use of Our Website

When using urbanvinylflooring.ae, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information when filling forms
• Use the website only for legitimate enquiries about vinyl flooring services
• Not attempt to access restricted areas or compromise website security
• Not copy, scrape, or republish website content without permission
• Not impersonate other persons or businesses
• Not use the website for any illegal or harmful activity

Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Urban Vinyl Flooring are based on information you provide and, where applicable, on-site inspection. Quotes are itemized and include:

• Material costs (per square meter or square foot)
• Installation labor costs
• Subfloor preparation costs (where required)
• Removal of existing flooring (where applicable)
• Estimated project timeline
• Warranty terms

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise. Material prices may fluctuate due to import costs and exchange rates; we re-confirm pricing if you proceed after 30 days. All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) and exclude VAT unless explicitly marked as inclusive.

Quotes are non-binding until you confirm acceptance in writing (via email, WhatsApp, or signed acceptance) and pay any required deposit.

Free Site Visits and Free Samples

We offer free site visits across all 7 emirates of the UAE for project assessment and measurement. Site visits are completely free with no obligation. Distance restrictions may apply for very remote locations and will be communicated upfront.

We provide free vinyl flooring samples (up to 6 samples per request, larger sample boards for trade and design clients). Samples are sent free with no purchase obligation. We reserve the right to limit excessive sample requests from the same individual or business that show no genuine project intent.

Orders, Confirmation, and Payment

An order becomes binding only when you confirm acceptance of an itemized quote in writing and pay the required deposit (where applicable).

• Quote acceptance: Written confirmation via email, WhatsApp, or signed acceptance
• Deposit payment: As specified in your quote (typical: 50% deposit on material order, 50% on completion)
• Material order placement: Begins after deposit confirmation
• Installation scheduling: Confirmed once material is in stock or arrival is confirmed
• Final balance payment: Due on completion of installation, before final walkthrough sign-off

We accept payment via bank transfer to our registered UAE business account, cash payment at our showroom, and credit or debit card (subject to 1 to 2% processing fee). All payments are processed in AED.

Installation Services

Our installation services include:

• Free site measurement and subfloor inspection
• Itemized installation quote
• Professional installation by certified fitters
• Subfloor preparation as required (per site visit assessment)
• Underlayment installation for floating systems
• Edge trimming, transitions, and skirting reinstatement
• Final walkthrough and warranty documentation
• Debris removal and post-installation cleanup

You are responsible for ensuring access to the property at scheduled times, removing personal belongings from work areas, and ensuring electricity, water, and lighting are available during installation. Failure to provide access at scheduled times may result in rescheduling fees.

Items outside our standard installation scope include door undercut adjustments, electrical work, plumbing work, and structural repairs. These are quoted separately if required and only undertaken with written approval.

Warranty Terms

Every installation we complete is covered by two warranties:

2-Year Workmanship Warranty

Covers defects in installation work including lifted seams, gapping at edges, transition strip failures, and click-lock failures caused by our installation. Within 2 years of completion, we return at no charge to assess and repair workmanship issues.

Manufacturer Material Warranty

Covers defects in the vinyl flooring material itself. Warranty period varies by brand and product (typical 10 to 25 years for residential premium products). Manufacturer warranty terms are documented at handover and should be referenced for specific coverage details.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water damage from external sources (flooding, plumbing leaks), furniture impacts, modifications by other parties, or wear from traffic exceeding the product's residential rating.

Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Cancellation, return, and refund policy:

• Quote-stage cancellation (no order placed): No fee, simply notify us
• After deposit but before material order: Deposit refunded minus AED 200 administrative fee
• After material order placed but before installation: Deposit refunded minus material restocking fee (typically 10 to 15% of material cost)
• During installation: Materials and labor completed up to cancellation point are charged at quoted rates
• After installation completion: No refund, but workmanship warranty applies for any defect

Unopened factory-sealed material in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for refund or store credit, subject to a 10% restocking fee. Custom-ordered or non-stock items are non-returnable. Damaged or used materials are not eligible for return.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability for any claim arising from website use, services provided, or any related matter is limited to:

• For installation services: The total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim
• For website use: AED 1,000 maximum
• For sample provision: The cost of replacement samples

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of profit, loss of use, or business interruption arising from our services or website use, except where UAE Consumer Protection Law provides otherwise.

Intellectual Property

All content on urbanvinylflooring.ae including text, photos, graphics, logos, and design is owned by Urban Vinyl Flooring or used under license. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or republish website content without our written permission. Brand names of vinyl flooring manufacturers are property of their respective owners and used only for descriptive purposes.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United Arab Emirates. UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) applies to all consumer transactions and overrides any conflicting clause in these Terms.

Dispute Resolution Process

If any dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve it directly. Most disputes are resolved within 14 days through direct communication. If resolution is not possible, disputes may be referred to:

• UAE Department of Economic Development consumer protection division
• Dubai Courts (or appropriate emirate's court system) with exclusive jurisdiction
• UAE-licensed arbitration where mutually agreed

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via website notice. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of our website or services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
